She worked at Pembina County Memorial Hospital and helped on the family farm. Farrow at the Cavalier Baptist Church on October 12, 1947. Luella served in World War II as a 1st LT Army nurse in the South Pacific from Ap– January 24, 1947. She attended Cranley rural school and then graduated from Cavalier High School in 1941. Luella Hodgson was born March 11, 1923, in rural Cavalier to John and Pearl (Switzer) Hodgson. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Farrow, 98, of Cavalier, ND passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Wedgewood Manor in Cavalier. INTERMENT: Quale Church Cemetery, Fordville, VISITATION: One hour prior to the service. He was preceded in death by his parents sisters, Elsie Ann and Mary Jane and brothers, Ronald and Raymond, nephews Bradley Capp and Duane "Skip" Sather, Jr.ĬELEBRATION OF LIFE: Friday, January 28 at 11 a.m. He shared a very special relationship with his nephew, Steven Sather who cared for him like a father figure.Įugene will be deeply missed by his brother John Capp, Lankin, ND sister Joanie Sather, Larimore, ND special nephew, Steven (Shauna) Sather, Larimore, ND and numerous nieces and nephews. Eugene enjoyed dancing, listening to old time music and going on trips. In 2003, he moved to Green Valley, MN to spend his retirement years with the love of his life, Elsie Capp. His passion was farming and working the cattle with his father, his brother, John Capp and nephews, Steven Sather and Brian Capp. ![]() He moved to Cleveland Township in 1940 where he attended school. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jerry and Dwite.Įugene Joseph Capp, age 84, resident of Northwood, ND and formerly of Lankin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Januat Northwood Deaconess Health Center.Įugene was born Apin Vernon Township, near Lankin, the son of Stanley and Anna (Beneda) Capp. ![]() He is survived by his wife, Carol children Julie (Kirk) Morrison, Neche, ND Jamie Ault and Kevin (Laura) Ault, all of Cavalier, ND Ryan (Erin) Ault, Wallace, ID grandchildren: Olivia, Veronica, Zachary Ault Kenrik Morrison Abby Johnson, Johnny Gregg, and Aiden Ault sisters: Sherry (Russell) Hannesson and Mary Moore sisters-in-law: Marilyn (Kevin) Shephard, Linday Storey (Dale Brown) brother-in-law, Jack Carignan and several nieces and nephews. Ken loved being outdoors especially gardening, mowing, hunting, fishing. He worked at Cavalier Implement for 25 years and worked for Wayne Ratchenski Farm until his retirement in 2015. After his service, he returned home to farm. After school Ken joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He grew up on the family farm near Cavalier, ND, and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1965. Ken was born December 6, 1947, in Grafton, ND, to Vernon “Jack” and Nevada (Marshall) Ault. Visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. at the Bathgate Presbyterian Church, Bathgate, ND. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Ault, 74, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his home near Cavalier.
